Intimate Time with God?

Is there a certain place in your house where you could have an intimate time with God? As in alone with God? I would prefer in the evening where my little ones are already upstairs and preparing to be tucked in bed. I also prefer in the morning, on my bed, or in the vast expanse of green nature or by the beach.

I can be honest with my God. I can pour out my heart. I can just be silent. 

This is my time with God. Everyday. Moment by moment.

I admit, we are not okay all the time. Like a friend, I can be real with Him. For He knows my all and all. He is my true friend, the lover of my soul. He is my Jesus. 

How do we spend our time?

I listen to Him by reading and studying the WORD: The Bible. He speaks to me through His word, the bible.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching,  for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.... -2 Timothy 3:16

I talk to Him in prayer. 

Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and  supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making  supplication for all the saints.... -Ephesians 6:18

And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to  pray and not lose heart. -Luke 18:1

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and  supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. -Philippians 4:6

16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. - 1 Thessalonians 5

Spending time with Jesus daily makes my soul long for more of Him. For He created me to fellowship with Him, my Lord & Savior. My God.
