Longing to Share the Life-changing Truth

There will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. These words in Luke chapter 15 explains well the reason that I want to reach out for our lost brothers, they are like the prodigal son.

I love my father and mother, together with my brothers and sisters. I don’t like them to miss out the true happiness that God, our father in heaven offers. So I shared who He is to them. Since first year college, the time when I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior, everything changed. The eternal perspective in me was born.

Kuya Arnaldo Ganaba, the former editor-in-chief of our school publication shared to me the Four Spiritual Laws. He was doing room to room evangelism that time and I showed no interest at first. But because of his perseverance, he finally won me and many of my friends that mostly became student leaders. He was smart in choosing influential but little bit crazy people. I became a Student Government President.

I shared the good news to my schoolmates and many of them joined our cell group, fellowships, and missions everywhere.

Though our careers have led us to different places, the passion kept us connected and to always yearn to share the life changing truth, the word of God. Today, I am discipling nine young professionals.

My constant longing is to actively communicate the love of God to everyone, especially the young professionals in the market place. I envision a community of professionals and businessmen worshipping God through their chosen field of expertise. Everyone is passionately involved in cell groups and persistently applies the principles in the bible - a community where everyone offers their works to the Father in heaven and craves to serve their fellowmen.
